Dear Arjuna! I love your work and I want to be honest as I feel you deserve it. I find the presentation in need of some “styling” to become as inspiring as your work… As for now I get inspired by your words and the way you express yourself, the glimps in your eyes … but not…Im sorry to say… by the layout of written words and pictures… it doesnt hold the standard that your work deserves…I beleive presentation is so important…when the flow between pictures and written words ( choise of fonts and colours…) merge and becomes like music or an artful piece of dance it will inspire and touch our hearts…. I myself am sorry to say I got tired after some minutes to watch this…And you dont deserve that… but maybe this is just me loving to work with theese kind of things myself… I would ask Chameli 😉 She has a lovely design and layout on her website … who makes it ? maybe someone that also loves making presentations… Can you ask someone to out from the film you made can come up with a fresh inspiring design. We all have our strenghts and YOURS deserve to be presented by someone who has the strength of layout and design…. much love Zuleikha

I agree with so many of the comments…sound quality changed and got warbly, a bit too long; want to see the price early on AND the most important…with all the great graphics, I loved the scrolling to see the web pages, but I too have no clear idea of how this course is presented…totally do it yourself or…? (I did understand the support of coaches and ask a question of the presenters; is the rest on your own time? That needs to be really clear. You can eliminate the last few presenters comments about the course…they are presenters, of course they will say positive things…not necessary.(and you will cut the time)

I would like to add another comment about why I am not buying this despite the incredible low price! I get SO MANY webinar/teleseminar/course offerings, and I have done several, but there is a place in me that says enough is enough. No, my life is not where I want it to be, but it’s not necessarily that I need another class. The shift has to come from inside my commitment. I am tempted to find 1-2 teachers and stick with them or one community and stick with it.

I enjoy listening to you; you have humility and a sense of humor and wisdom…I just don’t want to pay any more money to give a half-hearted effort to something I hear from lots of different sources but never seem to make that shift.
Plus life is also happening as well.
    I wish you well.

I have read all the comments above. I too enjoyed the video and also felt it gave a lot of content about the course. I agreed with many of the previous comments: the presentation is a little too long, some sound quality issues, and being more transparent about the price, however I did read your comment Arjuna about your discomfort with $$, and I so understand that. It was also refreshing to hear your discomfort with marketing, although I think that part could be shortened also. I did like the flow of the graphic presentation along with the dialogue.

I also like Jon’s idea about you being present with the interviewees and speaking directly with them.

One thing that wasn’t clear for me in the video (maybe it was presented and I missed it?). It seemed to me that this was a 30-day program, and I was thinking that at some time I would be presented with an on-going subscription fee at the end of the 30 days to still have access to the material being offered (i.e., the different practices).? However, reading Penelope’s post it seems that The Living Awakening course is downloadable course that I can have access to it permanently? Please let me know if my understanding is accurate.

Thank you Arjuna for the information you have shared here, your Presence, and your gifts that you share with us all.

In Deep Reverence for the Gift Of Life in all of Its Expressions,

Thanks for the opportunity to view this video and the learning that you share in it. At the end of it, I am curious to learn more about the course, but not quite clear about how it will happen, what the logistics are (self-paced? online community? an hour every day?)
I agree with those who suggest you give less time at the beginning to telling about your reservations about marketing. A more minor point, the yellow words used in the beginning are harder to read and have less impact than you probably intend.

    Hi Arjuna,

So wonderful to see your work! It might be a good idea to introduce what the product is earlier on, stating that it is an online course. I’m not quite sure about the capitalization of the words – couldn’t figure out what standard you were using. I liked the animations, like the big hand. However I didn’t get the foot lifting up the word. Also, towards the end, one of the very last things you say (when you reinforce the product – the close up of the close up) feels like it doesn’t carry the same straightforwardness, which might be felt by the listener. And one last thing, you encourage us to click on “register” below and then it says “add to cart”. Maybe that is different in the final product? I know, these are somewhat “anal” comments for such a beautiful product :). Some of the great things that stood out is the joke in the beginning and the yellow smily at the end. We the world are lucky to have you make this wonderful work available to us.

    All the best,

I know ‘selling yourself’ is always hard, so to say what I think, makes me think: who am i to say anything..
But still to look this vid as a ‘selling situation’- maybe it’s too long.. all these ppl whom are coming from the ‘list’.. you use as an example ppl, whom had made it one way or another.. where are we ‘common life worriers’ ?
you used as an example the author whom wrote men are from mars.. etc.. well: not any of us ‘jane does’ can spend ten years to meditate: we have our families and normal life- kids to take care etc.. you get the point?
the reality where they live is totally different of mine.. i have obligations for my family..etc.
maybe it’s too long.. you are good in front of camera.
this is only my opinion– blame yourself.. you asked.

    have a nice day–

Arjuna, my compliments, your message is clear and concise … (I recognize your difficulty with selling yourself, I have a similar ‘weakness’) … the only ‘critical’ remark I have is the length, but at same time I don’t really see a way of shortening it … the only option I see is to leave out the commentaries of your ‘cocreators’ … they are not really necessary here and there is probably another way of using them … for example as written commentaries … All the best with the course!

    Hi Arjuna,
I love you and your intention & dedication to share with us your wisdom. I love your video although Would I have watched it if I didn’t know you and that I would love it before I watch it, No! It’s far to loooong to be a sells pitch for a course, if you are aiming to reach new ppl. On the other hand if you aiming for people who already know you and what you have to offer is great. Listening to the video gives me hope for the future and I am so happy to hear how you burn to lead us into the new dimension of life. Does the video make me want to buy the course, I am sorry to say no! And even if I like what I saw, I didn’t even make it through half of it…

Hello Arjuna,I enjoyed the video, although I too would have liked to hear the cost before the “click on button”.

I found the setting for your personal interview very uncomfortable. I wanted to get rid of the still life on the table behind you and move you into the centre of the screen. It almost appeared that you were reluctant to be the focus of the listener’s attention. I also agree with the comment of Mischa about showing your whole upper body. You have very expressive hand gestures which you use well in conjunction with your speaking. It seems a shame not to give your listener the benefit of seeing them.
Good to see more on line courses. Living in Northern Australia makes it hard to access many of these wonderful people.

    Hi Arjuna,
The qualities I most love and which attract me to you and keep me open to what you have to say are very much apparent in your video eg; realness, friendliness, warmth, integrity, generosity, joyfulness and many others. Much appreciation and thank you for being “out there”.

The course sounds wonderful and your presentation gives plenty of excellent content. Initially I was deterred by the length but I think anyone who is drawn to the course would appreciate the detail. And throughout, your enthusiasm and warmth are infectious.

Like another one of your reviewers, I like to know what the price is before pressing the buy button, but also I like the seller to be up front, no hype and ordinary about the price – a nice change from what seems to be “normal” practice.
I found the initial visuals a little disconcerting and distracting – your head and shoulders to the right of the screen with a floating table top and objects slightly to the left. It wasn’t till later I realized you were sitting on a sofa! Which probably says more about me than you!

Hi Arjuna. I believe the intro was authentic and that’s the main thing. There are too many marketing videos which conform to a formula and they’re irritating. Be yourself and whatever is about you which is not perfect augments your message. Perhaps as a marketing video it was a tad too long but it depends what you’re trying to do. As an introduction to your work it was great. I didn’t want to be marketed to, I wanted to understand just what was in the course but those who don’t know your work may need a shorter introduction.

here’s my comment: I liked the video. It was well done. I think it would have been better if it were a bit shorter and/or had some immediately useful information that could “string” me along. It definitely was not too pushy. In fact, “I” think it could have been pushier. For example, you may have said that If I don’t order the course right now, an African pygmy cult will put a curse on me. That being said, I thought it gave a good and fair description of the course. good luck with it…

I feel very drawn to the practical applicability of this wisdom and think this element could be more emphasized….

    Hi Arjuna,
I have purchased your Deeper Love home study course and I actually had one coaching session with you over the phone. I think your video is like all the rest of your promo material- it is somehow both humble and straightforward. The text that pops up helps to focus during your narrative, which is good because the video contains alot of information. The reason that I chose to investigate what you’re all about in the first place, in one of the integral life teleconferences, was because of this ‘realness’ factor you exhibit consistently – the humility, the humour, the clarity and eloquence, the honesty. I say, don’t trade these things for anything. They are you and they work. Small detail: the video is long. I suggest removing the apology at the start with a kind of major points overview that will create a brief introductory sound/image byte for those on the move. They can then return to the video to get a deeper understanding, but get something quickly in the first minute that stands alone and makes a quick (but still real) impression. Also, watch the hand movement. Either fully include the upper body or minimize hand movement up into the frame. Hope this was useful fodder!

    Hi Arjuna
You asked for feedback. I’ve appreciated, enjoyed and been inspired by listening to and reading the wisdom you have freely and generously shared since I’ve been on your email list. The course sounds amazing. You explain really well what it contains. About 15 mins in to watching the video I began thinking uh oh the taboo subject of money is simply not being addressed here. You offer a $200 discount so that makes me think the course is going to cost a darn truckload of $$, and nowhere in the video do you say what it is going to cost. I’m one of the people who like to know what something is going to cost before I press the Buy Now/Add to Cart button. In my opinion, translucency, transparency and honesty around money is one big serious failing of our current socio/economic structure. I think we need to be totally open when we are asking people to pay for something we are offering. For me, this would be authentic marketing from a place of integrity. With love and many good wishes, Minerva

    Hi Arjuna
I was following you on the THRIVING in difficult Times series, which I loved so much I got the recordings
I bought this wonderful course just a few weeks ago – I am in the Occupied Palestinian Territories working for MSF (Drs w/o borders) and have limited Internet access. I was in Jerusalem with better access last week end and wanted to download some of the Resources – and got an ERROR page and a message saying “the requested URL was not found on the server” – VERY discouraging for me. NOW I UNDERSTAND. I will try it again soon.
I have heard/seen this video and find it too long. I personally tend to get impatient with too many explanations. I really want to know the gist – the point!! Although this presentation is full of content, I actually prefer the short ARRIVE video at the beginning of the series. It sort of speaks more to the HEART then to the part of us who wants to GET things.
It is too much info – people who are interested do not need it – and those who are not will get bored. Sorry.

    Hi Arjuna,

I just took the time and watched your video. I liked it. It is clear, not overwhelming, not boring and it creates couriosity. It is a little long which may cause that some people will not watch it till the end or even don’t watch it at all. In your email to me, you said:

“I’d love for you to go take a look at it, and tell me what you think.”

    Here goes:

Overall, it packs a powerful punch. If people can watch the whole thing, I think it will propel many to jump in. Great going!

I have some suggestions as well.

My only observation of the video segments is the repeated motif of the talking head. You are mapping out a different way, and claiming a different approach. Can you be different here, too, showing us by implication that you are truly showing us something different, for some of the interviews? For instance, what about seeing you walking side by side with one of the many interviewees, as they talk to you – with the same words they used in the video segments you have, but walking outdoors, in the woods perhaps. Or sitting in nature. Or sitting side by side on an airplane.

As for the audio, it would appear to need help. The segments where you (Arjuna) are on camera, and most of the voice-overs of your voice, have excessive hiss. The hiss disappears for the interviews. It might be less annoying if the hiss was present for the interviews, too, but it would be better if the hissy source material could be cleaned up – or re-shot with better audio recording if possible.

Towards the end, at 22:47, there is a sudden change in the audio of your voice-over. Sounds like Skype or some other quantizing noise. It sounds like you are suddenly speaking in a tunnel.

We are used to some music in our video watching, through movies, television shows, etc. It may have been a conscious choice on your part to have no music at all, but I think some music would enhance the experience, especially if it is not the canned, dramatic music so often used in infomercials and promotional videos for courses. (Maybe some simple solo acoustic guitar?)

Lastly, there is an error – you say at 23:38 the viewer should click on the button that says “Register” below – but there is no such button. Instead, there is a button that says “ADD TO CART.” I suggest you contact your webmaster, as it is likely easy to change what is in that radio button to “REGISTER.” That may be much easier than changing the audio.

And in case you were wondering, I am listening to this on an older laptop with its little internal speakers, not on some big fancy sound system. A bigger system only emphasizes the audio issues more.

And I re-emphasize that these are minor criticisms, although they imply a lack of professionalism. The presentation is compelling, and I think anyone watching gets a sense that you get a lot for your money with this course, and that it will be helpful for them. I think many people will be inspired by the presentation enough to sign up.

I think this video works. I like the concept very much. I wonder if it would be better if you started out telling more about the product and less time building rapport with the listener.
